Job descriptionReporting to the Global Master Data Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role are to support the companies master data accuracy, set up, and maintenance. Ensure data integrity across the business applications including the ERP system.
In this role, the individual is required to have analytic skills to handle and execute the business data requirements.
The Data Management Analyst must understand the value of data integrity to the whole organization including information lifecycle management, information modeling, master data management, and business requirements gathering.
Work with our various ERP-systems like JDE, Mapics, Navision, and Business Central; as well as workflow and invoice automation tools like Bottomline/ Datahaven/ and Inspyrus.
As needed, the Data Management Analyst should interact with the various business and information technology functions.
Job contents in detail:
Analysis (70%):
- Execute master data setup and configuration in ERP systems.
- Coordinate data requests and ensure data quality meets standards.
- Analyze business requests for compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor data health, execute cleansing efforts, and identify process improvements.
- Collaborate with business teams, provide data-driven recommendations, and support master data discrepancies resolution.
Data Continuity and Process Improvement (20%):
- Review and improve Master Data request guidelines.
- Provide master data support to IKO business departments.
- Collaborate on internal projects requiring data analysis and process improvements.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support (10%):
- Apply data audit methods and procedures to ensure data quality.
- Participate in internal projects requiring data analysis and business analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide analytical inputs.
ProfileEducation & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science/Programming.
- Preferred certifications: Data Analytics, Power BI Data Analyst.
- 5+ years of related experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems like JDE.
- Previous work in data governance or similar roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
