As Business Developer, you will drive the company’s growth by combining your expertise in tender management with a strong commercial focus. Acting as a key player in identifying and securing new opportunities, you’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver winning proposals and build lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new tender opportunities and strategic partnerships in Belgium and across the SEPA region.
  • End-to-End Tender Management: Lead the full lifecycle of tenders, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions that align with client needs.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and positioning the company’s solutions effectively.
  • Craft Winning Proposals: Develop compelling, tailored proposals that showcase the company’s innovative payment solutions.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competition, and emerging opportunities to proactively position the company for growth.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigate potential risks in tender submissions.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular progress updates and insights to the Management Committee, highlighting key wins and growth areas.
Profil

Your Profile:
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a mix of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and technical expertise:

  • Proven Experience: At least 2 years in business development, tender management or a similar role, ideally in fintech or related industries.
  • Strong Commercial Orientation: Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, engage stakeholders, and close deals.
  • In-Depth Knowledge: An understanding of SEPA payment systems, regulatory compliance, and the tendering process.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent in French, Dutch, and English, with the ability to build trust and negotiate effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tenders and client relationships simultaneously.
